Science can sometimes be a tough sell for young people. That's one reason why Penny Hammrich, the Dean of Education at Queens College in New York City, has developed a program that draws students into science by mixing it up with something fun - sports. She calls her program "Sisters in Science." WNPR's Nancy Cohen reports despite the name the program teaches science to both girls and boys through soccer and basketball.
