WNPR's Essential Radio is a weekly one-hour program that combines creative storytelling, vivid sound and in-depth journalism, the type of programming that sets public radio apart from everything else on the dial. You can hear thought-provoking features and discussions ranging from the economic crisis, the death penalty and religion, to the risks of terrorism in America, stories of every day people, and celebrations of holidays and traditions.
