Young people born between 1982 and 2000 make up the largest generation since the baby boomers.  Record numbers of eligible young voters are registering this year, over 70,000 in Connecticut alone. But it remains to be seen how many will actually vote.  Today we’re talking to three young voters about the issues that are important to them and about the campus environments they inhabit.  What are their peers saying about the upcoming election?  How often does talking turn into action? How closely do college students follow the campaign?

As a young voter I will not vote for either McCain or Obama, mostly because there's no difference between them. This campaign seems to me a marketing scheme offering a false choice between two candidates thatwill continue essentially the same destructive economic and foreign policy the Bush administration has orchestrated since September 11th.I don't consider my vote wasted if i vote for a third party.
