Episode Information

It’s been more than four months since New Years. How are you doing on your resolutions?
Every year it seems we eventually slip out of our resolutions to quit smoking or exercise more – so why is it so hard to keep new healthy habits?
That’s the question the Donaghue Foundation is asking at their annual conference here in Hartford – and today we’ll explore some of the ideas the foundation is looking at to help people in Connecticut stay on track with their healthy habits.
We’ll talk with Val Curtis, a health anthropologist at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She’s learned a lot about human behavior in her study of cleanliness.
We’ll also talk about food and diet and smoking – and we want you to join the conversation.
What’s holding you back from adopting a healthier life?
