Himes is on the House Financial Services Committee. It’s chairman, Barney Frank says the House will pass major regulatory reform of the financial system by this fall…and today, it takes up a plan to toughen rules for Wall Street executive pay.
Today, Where We Live, we’ll talk with Himes about financial reform, health care and the state of the economy.

Mr Himes,
I have a suggestion: merely require all executive bonuses to come from the profits the company declares as taxable. No taxable profits would mean that no bonuses could be paid.
If the bonuses can't be paid from after-tax profits, no bonuses are allowed.
