Most scientists agree: global warming increasingly threatens our climate, geography, and way of life.  It's been twelve years since the Kyoto Protocol was drafted to address global warming, and it still hasn't been signed by the United States.

World leaders, including President Obama, will gather next week in Copenhagen to try to reach a new agreement about next steps in the fight to curb greenhouse gas emissions. Though many have doubts that much real progress will come from this round of talks, Copenhagen represents and important re-evaluation of the state of the global environment.

Today, Where We Live, we'll talk with students and a journalist as they prepare for the United Nations Climate Change Conference. We'll also get the latest news on scandal involving environmental scientists, climate skeptics, and stolen emails at a British University.
