It's not an unusual situation - ancient artifacts are looted from archaeological sites... or expensive art disappears amidst political unrest - and shows up years later thousands of miles away. Museums around the world such as MFA, MOMA, J. Paul Getty Museum, and The British Museum have all had to return pillages artifacts. Coming up, Where We Live, we'll talk with reporter Diane Orson who has been covering the contested Machu Picchu artifacts that Yale University currently houses, but Peru claims that they own - and we'll explore the larger question: Who owns, and should have access to, a work of art?
