Now, four years later, he’s running for a very different job – Governor – at a time when that might be one of the most unappealing jobs around. Here are some things we know about Lamont: He’s the front-runner in the race to replace Jodi Rell, according to the Quinnipiac Poll; He says that he wants to create jobs in Connecticut. (Of course, every candidate for Governor is saying the same thing); And, he supports the state’s campaign finance reform efforts, but plans to self-finance this run.
