Episode Information

With the fall of Saddam Hussein's government in Iraq, the neighboring country of Iran has been viewed by the Bush Administration as the greatest threat in the Middle East....not just to the US, but to it's ally, Israel. In his new book, T"reacherous Alliance: The Secret Dealings of Israel, Iran and the US" - Trita Parsi explores the ways in which these countries have worked publicly against one another - and covertly with one another, dating back to 1948...and even further.
Parsi is president of the National Iranian American Council and teaches International Relations at Johns Hopkins - he spoke recently at Central Connecticut State University.
