Periodically, throughout world history, times of enlightenment are born out of tragedy or turmoil.  Some observers, looking at the failures in our economic system, and widespread dissatisfaction with government policies, see now as another such time.  Patrica Martin was recently in Hartford at a Cultural Leadership Forum hosted by the Greater Hartford Arts Council.  She was here to talk about her book "Renaissance Generation: The Rise of the Cultural consumer and what it means to your business"  - Martin says its not just the times that make for a renaissance - it's the people, the so called "Ren Gen."
