Professor Joel Brattin, WPIProfessor Joel Brattin, WPIYou've seen it a million times, the story of "A Christmas Carol" and it's main character, Ebenezer Scrooge. Bah Humbug!

The story of the cranky old businessman, his encounter with spirits and his revelation about humanity and the meaning of Christmas has been retold countless times, by Shakespearean actors, by civic theatre troupes, by Mickey Mouse and the Muppets, by Bill Murray, and the cast of WKRP in Cincinnati.Bill Raymond: Photo: Ryan Cassella Bill Raymond: Photo: Ryan Cassella

We're talking about the Dickens classic, what we're getting right and what we're missing from the author's original, and why we can't get enough of this story of redemption. We'll be talking with actors who have portrayed very different versions of Scrooge. Actress Debra Walsh: Photo by Ryan CassellaActress Debra Walsh: Photo by Ryan Cassella
