The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have spawned a number of documentaries exploring the impact of war at home and abroad. But few films have had the impact of Taxi to the Darkside. Director Alex Gibney explores US interrogation techniques following 9/11 - through the stories of a dead Afghani taxi driver - and some very haunted US soldiers - asked to carry out a dark role in the war on terror.
The producer of the film, Don Glascoff, is in Hartford tonight to talk at the opening of the film at Real Art Ways, following their 7:45PM screening. He spoke to Where We Live about producing the documentary.
