Bob Barr served Georgians in the US House of Representatives for 8 years between 1995 and 2003, where he was known as a solidly conservative lawmaker, loved by the Christian right. He fought for the impeachment of Bill Clinton, staunchly supported the war on drugs, and fervently opposed abortion. Today, Bob Barr has split with the GOP and is the Libertarian candidate for President. Voters in Connecticut, however, won’t see him on the ballot. Today on Where We Live, we’ll talk to Barr’s deputy Campaign Manager about the controversial Connecticut ballot ruling and the issues that got Barr in the race to begin with.
