Celebrate with an exciting concert featuring the world premiere of Paquito D'Rivera's Concerto for Double Bass, Clarinet/Alto Saxophone and Orchestra. This concert includes one of the last interview/conversations with the late Cachao, a tribute to Cuba's legendary bass player. And, reflects Cachao's extraordinary sense of humor as well as the eclectic career of an 88-years-young bassist who played everything from symphonies and ballets to silent movies, circuses and nightclubs.
