Sarah Brightman: Symphony in Vienna

A CPTV Red Carpet Special

This new Sarah Brightman concert special, taped in January 2008 in the magnificent St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, Austria, features the singer’s best-loved hits and selections from her new release, Symphony. Spanish countertenor Fernando Lima (Pasión), Italian tenor Alessandro Safina (Sarai Qui) and singer/songwriter Chris Thompson (Phantom of the Opera) join her in the special. From the classic beauty of her worldwide smash Time to Say Goodbye to the Gothic tempestuousness of her newest hit, Fleurs du Mal, Symphony in Vienna is a stunning performance special that explores a bold range of styles, a "symphony" of various musical genres coming together in one unforgettable evening.

Brightman remarks that her latest music is "a coming together of many different elements, to create consonance with harmonious textures that still hold true to a common thread running down the centre of the album. Throughout my career, I have worked in so many different styles of music. This is the first album where all of these styles come together to create a very diverse musical landscape."  get tickets to Sarah Brightman's upcoming Connecticut concert..
