Reading Rainbow's 15th Annual Young Writers and Illustrators Contest

CPTV-Connecticut Public Television is proud to sponsor the 15th Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers & Illustrators Contest!
Calling all young artists and writers! Connecticut Public Television (CPTV) is holding its 15th Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest. Children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to enter the contest.
Applications for the Young Writers and Illustrators Contest are available from CPTV by visiting the website at
www.cptv.org or by calling 860.275.7270. Entries must be postmarked by Monday, March 30, 2009.
Entries should be between 50 and 200 words and should be the child’s own work – no co-written stories, please! A panel of judges will review all entries submitted by contestants. All entrants receive a Reading Rainbow certificate of achievement along with the chance to win local and national prizes including gift to Barnes and Noble
Entries must be postmarked by Monday, March 30, 2009.
