The two newsmaker guests will be: James J. Finley, executive director and CEO of Connecticut Conference of Municipalities.....and Scott Slifka, Democratic Mayor of West Hartford, and member of the CCM Board of Directors.

As for the "Notes from the Capitol" segment, things heated up Thursday in the debate over who's being honest about the size of the state deficit, so we are using that topic for the journalist slot.
