Host Steve Kotchko and guests House Speaker James Amann (D-Milford) and House Republican Minority Leader Lawrence Cafero (R-Norwalk) examine the overall 2008 legislative session and what can be done to benefit the state in a challenging economy.

Also, the "Notes from the Capitol" segment features Keith Phaneuf from the Journal Inquirer and Christopher Keating from the Hartford Courant. They discuss the state budget plan that was approved this week by the Democrat-controlled Appropriations Committee and how it compares with the Governor’s proposed budget.
