Upon learning of the generous grant,Jerry Franklin, president and CEO of CPBN, stated, “It’s incredibly rewarding to be recognized by Newman’s Own Foundation for the role we play in Connecticut, providing outstanding programs and services to our diverse audiences. The long-standing relationship between CPBN and Newman's Own Foundation demonstrates their commitment to supporting community outreach and CPBN's mission now and into the future.”
“Paul Newman believed that the independent voice played a critical role in making our world a better place,” said Robert Forrester, president of Newman’s Own Foundation. “He was a strong supporter of public broadcasting, and we are proud to maintain that support through our funding of CPBN.”
