Prince Fatty's Survival of the Fattest
has the dense, analog sound of a dub LP out of 1973. With effects,
musicians, and singers from some of the earliest dub albums, producer
Mike Pelanconi has really gone to great lengths to make this an
authentic dub reggae record.
We've also got some tracks from Mogwai's reissue of Young Team.
The bands debut album set the stage for bands like Explosions In the
Sky and Efterklang. The album is 10 years old, but it still packs a
wallop.
