Elvis Perkins has a new band, some new songs, and a new album to put them on. The instrumentation is braver and the songs are unbelievably ballsy. There's no questions of whether or not Perkins has come into his own on this LP, and we've got a few tracks from it.
We've also got new music from Woods and Nadja. Plus, music form the debut LP of Fever Ray. If you're into the cerebral sounds of Laurie Anderson, Yoko Ono, and Björk, Fever Ray will be your favorite record of '09.
