Episode Information

The Thrush, is Chandeliers debut LP, and it's an impressive start for the Chicago synthsters. Like Animal Collective and Holy F***, Chandeliers has a knack for bringing electronic music beyond its rigid past, into a fluid future. This album works for headphones and dance floors. However, if you're dealing with the latter, please don't do the robot; that's just inappropriate.
Also on the show, we've got new music from Julie Doiron, Telekinesis, and WEAVE!. And to finish things up, we've got the new Antony & the Johnsons LP, the Crying Light. This is beautiful artful pop album whose carridge will turn back into a pumpkin at midnight, so catch it while you can.
It's a very mixed podcast.
