On the surface, it would seem as if these two albums have very little in common. The smooth songwriting and calm execution of Kaki King seems worlds away from the lumbering rhythms and operatic falsettos of Yoshida Tatsuya's Koenjihyakkei.
Even though it seems like these two artists work in different worlds, both are renowned within their circles of fans as fantastic musicians. Virtuosity is virtuosity, but vision can take it in an infinite number of dicrections.
