MEDIA IS MAGIC 2012
SEE LEARNING THROUGH A WHOLE NEW LENS
Media Is Magic, a media-enrichment collaboration between America’s Choice at SAND Elementary School, Hartford Public Schools and Connecticut Public Television that has helped children develop the academic, technical and life skill needed for success, is the subject of an original documentary that premiered on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at 8:30 p.m. on CPTV. The show will be rebroadcast on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 4:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28 at 11:00 a.m. and Saturday, Dec. 29 at 8:30 a.m.
Media is Magic 2012 was produced and edited by Media Lab graduate Julia Kwon. She also served as the lead classroom instructor. The Media Lab, part of CPBN’s Department of Education Services, develops production and instructional expertise by providing a real-world learning opportunity for college students and recent graduates with a passion for digital media and journalism. Media Lab interns serve as additional mentors and technical experts.
