Imagine... students learning how to keep up with rapid pace of technology and harness the power of digital media. The Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network is creating a state-of-the-art facility called the Learning Lab.  Using 20,000 square feet of classroom space, the Lab will be a digital learning destination for students, teachers, veterans, and adults--using technology to inspire, produce new content and develop workforce skills in individuals of all ages.

Located at CPBN's corporate headquarters in Hartford, the Learning Lab is being designed as:

*A teaching facility with our first partner being the Hartford Public Schools, serving as a satellite campus for 100 high school seniors from Journalism & Media Academy

*A collaborative learning and training center for youth/adult learners

*A welcoming space to foster community conversations

*An additional resource to develop CPBN media projects.

The city that nurtured Twain, Stowe, Stevens, and Olmstead: men and women of talent, vision, and integrity, will soon be home to a national model for learning, using technology to inspire young minds.
