The (I)NTERVIEW series is a new web original production created by the CPBN Media Lab staff. The series features unexpected and revealing answers from some of Connecticut's most recognizable people, literally, names you know, stories you don't.
Notable interviews include Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, News Anchor Ann Nyberg and Meterologist Scot Haney. When asked if he had a secret talent, Blumenthal replied, "No talent I have is secret anymore." Ann Nyberg shared that she is an avid knitter and Haney discussed his knack for gardening.
The series consists of lighthearted and personality driven questions which highlight facts about their lives that may be unrelated to their professions.
"(I)NTERVIEW is a great learning experience for our Lab staff," said Paul Pfeffer, CPBN's Manager of Online Content and Executive Producer for the series, "It is an opportunity for the staff to perform all the tasks involved, from producing, shooting, editing and posting
The interviews are shot in CPBN Media Lab's Studio B where the lab staff sets up the camera, lighting, microphones and staging. Production equipment includes a Sony EX-3 camera, Impact lighting instruments, Bogen tripod, and Sony microphones. Post production and editing is completed using Adobe CS4 and Final Cut Pro.
(I)NTERVIEW title design and animation was created by CPBN Media Lab Staff member Sam Hockaday
