Bio-diverse gardens are wonderful for your landscape environment. Think of them as gardens that act like nature and promote a healthy environment. A bio-diverse garden supports a wide variety of life, from plants and animals, to insects and beneficial pollinators. They are ecosystems that contribute to the health of our world, and there are practical reasons why you should think about diversity. For one, seeding a garden with a wide variety of plants is critical to its own resiliency. Two, hundreds of species of native plants will not survive the 21st century unless we include them in our gardens today.
