Two recent reports paint a bleak picture for the economic future of Connecticut. In it’s latest outlook, “Skirting a Recession?†the Connecticut Center for Economic Analysis predicts a deteriorating state economy, and the loss of some 7,000 jobs by late next year.
The Connecticut Business and Industry Association says the sustained drop-off of young, skilled workers, combined with an aging population and the high cost of housing could cause a major economic slide for the state.
