Suheyla Nurlu

Suheyla graduated with a B.A. in Human Rights Studies in May 2008 from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Suheyla also minored in Legal Studies and Film Studies, which led her to pursue an internship with CPTV. As an international student at Trinity College, she was interested in the issues of immigrants and refugees. Suheyla worked to cover the problems experienced by the immigrant and refugee communities in Hartford through video journalism. She hopes to break into broadcast journalism after college.

Update: Suheyla was recently accepted by the University of London for their MA in Television Journalism program. She writes,"I am sure the CPTV experience will be a tremendous help!! I actually submitted the videos I made during the internship as part of my application. "
