Conversations on Health Care focuses on opportunities for reform and innovation in the health care system. “Conversations” takes a closer look at some of health care’s most pressing topics, through in depth interviews with health care leaders from around the globe. The show will highlight innovations in mobile health technology that are transforming the health care landscape, as well as a “bright idea” about how to make wellness a part of our community’s everyday lives.
Co-hosts Mark Masselli and Margaret Flinter of Community Health Center, Inc. have been at the forefront of building Connecticut’s health care system for those in need. Each brings four decades of experience in overcoming the barriers that block access to care.
Mark Masselli, president and CEO of Community Health Center, Inc., noted, “Health Care in America is at the intersection of economics, health care design, technological advancement and consumer engagement. We will explore whether this confluence brings us a system that improves health care for all, or continues the status quo.”
Conversations on Health Care is part of WNPR’s Health Forum, an initiative that also includes the radio program Yale Cancer Center Answers, the new-to-WNPR program The Real Life Survival Guide, and the Health Show.
