There are two kinds of people in this world. One, the kind of people who like to make lists. And two, the kind of people who know what Kohlrabi is. See, that's a flawed list.

There's something wrong with it. But to figure out what's wrong with it, you'd have to talk to somebody who's good making lists. I am not that person.

But we do like lists. Everybody, at some level does. If you're going to make a list of the ten best movies you saw this year, it forces you to revisit your reality and make some judgments. That kind of list, I think, makes you feel powerful. The guys in the movie High Fidelity made that kind of list all day long, because nothing else in their lives made any sense. But a list ... well it's a way of getting all the ponies in the barn.

Making lists is probably a skill, like anything other skill. Some people are good at it. Others not so much. Today we'll figure out why.
