Dankosky keeps his revels here to-day:
Take heed Chion come not within his sway;
For Dankosky is passing fell and wrath,
Because that she in her blithe habit hath
Left us now and fled to Moorish Spain
She never had so sweet respite from rain.
And jealous Dankosky would have the show
Bereft of her, silent as a chilblain'd crow;
But she perforce withholds herself from us,
Crowned now in flowers and making wedding fuss.
Now she is not found in shady arbor
By daylight, her changeling is Bruce Barber,
But, they do square, that all their elves for fear
Creep into acorn-cups and hide them there.
Wow. It's hard to do one of these thing in iambic pentameter. But that's one our topics today. Another is how to turn our ears for the poetry and the imagery of Shakespeare so that it doesn't sound like people calling out the names of London tube stops.
