The Berlin Turnpike has changed a lot over the years.

Hotels have come and gone and businesses -- from bowling alleys to diners -- have shuffled in and out.

But one thing has remained constant - the road. Sure, traffic has decreased as highways developed, but the lure of the turnpike and the kitchy architecture that's sprung up around it persists to this day.

We'll chat about some of that history with two experts from Connecticut Explored magazine. And Colin discusses several other roads in the state. Do you have a favorite Connecticut road? Leave your comments below or e-mail [email protected].
