A worldwide religious debate was sparked between Chirstians and Muslims, following Pope Benedict's controversial 2006 comments about Islam and Holy War.   This is Where We Live.

The comments prompted an open letter from the Muslim community in response - "A Common Word Between Us and You" - aimed at declaring common ground between the faiths.  That was followed by another response by Christian Scholars.  The dialogue continued during a two day meeting at the Vatican this past November.

Today, Where We Live, we're going to follow up on this story of inter-faith understanding - with two scholars who attended this meeting.  Ingrid Mattson, President of the Islamic Society of North America, and a professor at Hartford Seminary and Lamin Sanneh, a Christianity professor at Yale divinity school.

And, we'll talk about President Obama's call to all religions to work together during his inauguration speech.
