We've got some roughly recorded garage rock from Ty Segall. He's singing the praises of garage's early days, and he's recording it all by himself, it seems.

We've also got some trippy, hip hop-influenced electronica from Black Moth Super Rainbow member, Tobacco. For a genre of music that's usually quite rigid, Tobacco brings a warm, breathing aesthetic to the world of electronic music on this new LP, Fucked Up Friends.

We've also got a clip from an interview I recently had with Parts & Labor's Dan Friel, some post-rock from A. Armada, some electropop from Chairlift, and some mathpop from French Miami.

Also, don't forget to tune in next week when we start going over some of the best music that has come out this year.
