Obama's CT Connection & Rating Expectations

This week our newsmaker segment will focus on the Obama inauguration and the new administration. We will have Glastonbury attorney Nicholas Paindiris, a key figure in the Obama CT campaign, an official Obama elector, and an Obama supporter who went to Washington for the inauguration. Also, Douglas Schwartz, Quinnipiac University Poll Director, who can discuss the pros and cons of being a very popular elected official...you have clout because of that support, but you also face perhaps unreasonable high expectations from the electorate.

In our "Notes from the Capitol" segment, we will focus on the hiring and ultimate cancellation of a new high-paying legislative job for former State House Speaker James Amann due to political pressure and editorial criticism. The reporters will be: Ken Dixon of the Connecticut Post and Paul Hughes of the Waterbury Republican-American.
