Tom practices in the areas of corporate and business law, commercial finance, bankruptcy, and health care. He serves as general counsel to privately-owned businesses in industries including health care, manufacturing, retail, and professional services. Tom also represents borrowers and financial institutions in a wide variety of financing transactions, including commercial and industrial loans and tax-exempt financings. He has extensive experience representing and advising businesses of all kinds in bankruptcy proceedings throughout the United States. Tom is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he has taught Bankruptcy since 1992, and he has written and lectured extensively on business law and health law topics.
