Susan Haigh has been a reporter in Connecticut since 1989, covering the state Capitol for the last 14 years. During that time, she worked for the Norwich Bulletin, The Day of New London and most recently The Associated Press, where she has been the state political writer since 2002. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in international relations from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., and a masters degree in public policy from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. She has been a frequent contributor on various Connecticut television and radio news programs.
