Robert Kreitler manages a New Haven branch office of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. where he has been a member of its elite Chairman’s Council for four years. He has been a financial planner for over 20 years. He spearheaded an effort with Ibbotson Associates and the Financial Planning Associates to create “National Savings Guidelines” which have received extensive national attention. He has written multiple articles on retirement planning and is the author of Getting Started in Global Investing which introduces the Island Principle.
He is a regular guest on WNPR’s The Faith Middleton Show and speaks regularly at professional meetings. He worked for Champion International for five years and spent 15 years with the federal government, half of those years with the Office of Management and Budget. He has degrees from Carleton College and Yale University.
