Robert Astur is Director of the Virtual Reality Lab at the Institute of Living's Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center and is an adjunct assistant professor in the psychiatry department of Yale University's School of Medicine.  He uses virtual reality environments to understand drug cravings, alzheimer's assesment techniques, and PTSD in returning Iraq veterans.
