Phil Hall is a contributing editor for the online magazine Film Threat. His film-related journalism has been published in the New York Times, New York Daily News, Hartford Courant and Wired Magazine. He is the author of the books "The Encyclopedia of Underground Movies" (2004), "Independent Film Distribution" (2005) and "The New PR" (2007); his newest book, "The History of Independent Cinema," is now available from BearManor Media. He lives in Fairfield, Connecticut.
