Dr. Maureen Moakley chairs the Political Science Department and the University of Rhode Island. She specializes in state politics, political parties, and women in politics. She is author of Politics and Government in Rhode Island, published by Nebraska University Press in 2001. Professor Moakley is a regular contributor to Politcal Roundtable on WRNI, Rhode Island Public Radio and A Lively Experiment on WSBE, Rhode Island's Public Television Station.
