Veteran journalist Marcia Chambers lives in Branford and launched the online Branford Eagle in 2006. The Eagle is part of the New Haven Independent online newspaper website that is published by the Online Journalism Project.  She is now a journalist-in-residence at the Yale Law School.  Chambers is a former New York Times metro and national reporter, a former AP reporter in New York, and a former columnist for the National Law Journal.
