Maggie Adair is the Policy Director at the Connecticut Association for Human Services (CAHS), a statewide advocacy organization that works to end poverty and equip and empower all families in Connecticut to build a secure future. She is responsible for developing and implementing the CAHS policy agenda and for providing leadership to the Family Economic Success (FES) Network. Ms. Adair previously worked at the Connecticut Association of Nonprofits, where she coordinated the Center for Professional Development and served as Project Director of the Connecticut Nonprofit Human Services Cabinet. Her career experience includes program planning, membership development, education and policy development for municipal public officials, and 12 years in the newspaper field as a reporter and editor. Ms. Adair holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Hartford and an undergraduate degree in comparative religion from the University of Vermont.
