Lane Greene is International Correspondent for The Economist, writing analysis of global political affairs. He has been a foreign-affairs columnist for the New Republic, and in addition, he has written for the New York Times and Slate.com. He has appeared as a commentator on international affairs on CNBC, CNN, CNNfn, CNN International, Fox News Channel, and numerous public radio programs. He also teaches global affairs as an adjunct assistant professor at New York University. Mr. Greene holds an M.Phil. in European Politics and Society from Oxford University, where he was a Marshall Scholar. He has a B.A. with honours in International Relations and History from Tulane University.
