Joseph Bridgers Muhammad

Joseph Muhammad began his career as a firefighter in 1986, and within three years he had begun his ascent in rank within the firefighting community. Muhammad has also helped organize for civil actions, helping to gather an estimated 250,000 men from New York City for the Million Man March. Muhammad has been published in multiple periodicals and attened Norfolk University from 1976-1980 where he majored in Health and minored in Music.  Before his career in fire fighting, Muhammad worked a variety of jobs including work as a psychiatric technician and youth coordinator.
