ELVIN T. LIM is Assistant Professor of Government at Wesleyan University. He is the author of The Anti-intellectual Presidency (Oxford University Press, 2008) as well as peer-reviewed articles in Political Psychology and Presidential Studies Quarterly. He is a two-time winner of the Sara Norton thesis prize at the University of Oxford, where he took a BA (First Class) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Phd) in Politics. He is a winner of the the Presidency Research Fellowship and the Founder's Award of the Presidency Research Group of the American Political Science Association. He was previously a Visiting Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin, a Research Fellow at Yale University and Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Tulsa.

Elvin Lim researches and teaches classes in American politics in general, and on campaigns, the culture wars, immigration, the media, political communication, political development, and the presidency in particular.
