David Greenfield
Center for Internet and Technology Addiction

Dr. Dave Greenfield is a recognized expert in the study and treatment of all forms of Internet Addiction and behaviors associated with addictions linked to technology (including computer, cell phones, PDA's, and all gaming devices) in both the home and workplace. Dr. Dave is the author of  Virtual Addiction (New Harbinger Books, 1999).

Dr. Dave is a past-president of the Connecticut Psychological Association and is Director of The Center for Internet and Technology Addiction and The Healing Center, LLC.

Dr. Dave was honored with the American Psychological Association’s Heiser Presidential Award for Professional Psychology Advocacy (1999) and the Connecticut Psychological Association’s award for Distinguished Contribution to Psychology in Connecticut (1995). He holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a Minor in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from Texas Tech University, a Masters degree in College and Community Counseling from New York University and a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
