Dario currently attends the Johns Hopkins University Master of the Arts in Writing Program (dual concentration - poetry and nonfiction). At JHU, he is working on expanding his platform concerning military and veteran's issues. An aspiring author, Dario has already completed his first book entitled, Go Now, You Are Forgiven: a literary memoir about coming-of-age as a Marine Corps Reservist during the Global War on Terror. A dedicated writer - in addition to the completion of his first book, several short stories and essays, and over a hundred poems - he has been featured in The New York Times twice, achieved second place in two Connecticut State-wide competitions, published his poem "Fallujah, A Sunny Day," and been featured in the Central Connecticut State University Literary Journal, The Helix. Next year, Dario is due to be included in an upcoming anthology for new voices of the current wars. He is also working on his second book, a novel.
