Charlotte Booker makes her TheaterWorks debut as Eppie Lederer (“Ann Landers”) in “The Lady With All the Answers”, by David Rambo. Her New York theater credits include Deathbed (McGinn-Cazale Theatre); Fugue (Cherry Lane Theatre); Psycho Beach Party (Players Theatre); and the Broadway revival of Born Yesterday with Ed Asner and Madeline Kahn. Ms. Booker has appeared regionally in dozens of plays, including Our Town and Steel Magnolias (Alley Theatre, Houston); Dusty and the Big Bad World, The Clean House, and Season!s Greetings (Denver Center); Our Town with Hal Holbrook (Hartford Stage); Villa America (Williamstown Theatre Festival); and Things We Do For Love and Bedroom Farce (Old Globe, San Diego). Extensive television credits include guest spots on Law and Order, CSI, Third Rock, Murphy Brown, Chicago Hope, Newsradio, Third Watch, Married With Children, Drew Carrey, and many more, and starring as Honey on the cult series Hi Honey, I!m Home. Ms. Booker co- created and co-produced Cause Celeb!, a downtown NY comedy show that ran for over four years, and adapted The Autobiography of Lady Lawford, As Told to Buddy Galon into a play called Bitch!, which premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival last summer. A graduate of Northwestern University, she was fortunate to have such wonderful teachers as Uta Hagen, Shelley Winters, and Geraldine Page. She is currently working on Bitch!, the screenplay, as well as her second full-length play, The Bootheel.
